The College of Law
The College offers 4-year (Bachelor degree) and 5-year (Specialist and Master degree) programs (full-time, part-time and external) in Jurisprudence.
The College was founded in 1875. Yevhen Erlih, the founder of Law Sociology, and Hans Gross, the creator of Criminology, were among the faculty.
The Faculty numbers five full professors, thirty-six associate professors, twenty-nine assistant professors, and twenty-two assistants. The College’s intensive growth is caused by sound doctorate and postgraduate study programs.
The College has its own codification and criminology laboratories, computer lab, Internet center, European Studies Center, Students' Law Clinic, Yevhen Erlih Student Scientific Society. University’s research library receives about 50 reviews in Jurisprudence, a lot of scientific and educational literature.
The College is proud of its “Unified Graduates' Data Bank”, according to which 80 MA graduates (among 94) do the scientific work in Jurisprudence specialized higher educational institutions of different accreditation levels and forms of ownership. 758 Specialist graduates are employed in various law colleges and schools as state prosecutors, courts, banks, other companies and organizations.
Over 96,5% of the College's full-time graduates work in their major field.
